Cortex 3.2.0 adds support for multiple new archive platforms and integrations, expanded support for Cherwell and ServiceNow archives, broader API and MCP access, stronger migration tooling, and continued Cherwell performance enhancements.

ServiceNow Enhancements​

ServiceNow archives received major improvements across search, record handling, troubleshooting, synchronization, and administration.

Search & Navigation​

  • Added full-text search for ServiceNow archives across MariaDB, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • Expanded the full-text index builder with per-table build status, filtering, and resumable builds.
  • Added field-aware search controls, including date pickers, boolean selectors, and validated-value dropdowns.
  • Added Like and Not Like search operators.
  • Added CSV export from archive search results.
  • Added configurable display timezone support for date values and date-based filters.
  • Updated ServiceNow navigation so Search is the default landing experience.
  • Fixed: ServiceNow table switching between Browse and Search.

Forms & Data​

  • Added mapping support for extensible attribute fields and reference fields.
  • Added support for assigned-team dropdown values on ServiceNow record forms.
  • Added configurable open and closed date fields at the top of record forms.
  • Expanded search and export field availability for short description and description fields.
  • Improved field-type handling and layout rendering for ServiceNow forms and lists.
  • Added troubleshooting interfaces for diagnosing form rendering, related list rendering, or reference field loading issues.

Sync & Performance​

  • Added PostgreSQL as a supported target for the Cortex Sync Utility.
  • Improved Cortex Sync Utility for retrieving ServiceNow exports directly via the API, with clearer failure reporting, automatic retry of failed records, and more reliable rebuilds.

Administration & Diagnostics​

  • Added more control over which system tables are visible and included in ServiceNow archives.
  • Improved ServiceNow group-assignment interfaces.

New Archive Data Sources​

Cortex 3.2 expands archive coverage to additional platforms and database sources.

Cherwell archives received continued improvements across search, rendering, administration, and performance.

Search & Navigation​

  • Added support for saving customized columns with saved searches, including drag-and-drop reordering.
  • Added an option to show all group-member fields in the search builder.
  • Fixed: Issues where search controls could remain disabled after switching Business Objects.
  • Fixed: Related-item dialogs that could get stuck while loading.
  • Fixed: Search results disappearing after column customization.
  • Fixed: Prompt conflicts when multiple prompts shared the same name.
  • Improved Security Group filtering and user selection behavior.

Forms & Rendering​

  • Added support for the Cherwell Universal/G2 theme system.
  • Improved form rendering and arrangement behavior.
  • Improved loading and responsiveness when opening Cherwell records and navigating form arrangements, including lazy loading for form arrangement tabs.
  • Added loading animations throughout the Cherwell experience to provide clearer visual feedback while actions and results are loading.

Performance & Administration​

  • Improved query performance for large Cherwell Journal tables and reduced database blocking during read operations.
  • Added configurable SQL execution timeout support.
  • Added additional performance and stability improvements.

Administration, Security & Deployment​

  • Added a warning when upgrading to a Cortex version your installed license does not support.
